Violation 0.31 - [Action - House 48 only]
[One thing about having moved back on his own? Goroh was left feeling extremely, extremely bored. Nothing was more annoying than sitting on his hands all day. He could either sit on his hands, walk around aimlessly, or get drunk. It's with that all in mind he realized there's one thing he's really been missing this past month. So around two in the morning, he throws some clothes on and exits the apartment. A brisk walk through the village leads him to House 48, his old abode. As quiet as he can be, he breaks his way in through the door. After enjoying the sense of familiarity all around him, he makes a few preparations... and settles down on the couch.
With the 'tools of the trade' lined up in their proper order, after a month of being misused by the house residents, Goroh turns the television on, cranks up the volume, and sits back to enjoy a classic 20th century Earth movie. The Terminator. It sounds promising enough.
Hopefully he doesn't wake anyone.]

Tao, I swear, if you...
[And then he sees who's on the couch. And stops.]

Oi, pipe down. These are important plot points.

...But... you're watching a loud movie at this hour. How is that any...?
no subject
You guys still keep stocked up on beers, right? Good movie so far. Evil robots from the future. Well, not future for me. You get the picture. [Checking the fridge now.]
no subject
Yeah, there should be some in the back.
no subject
Two people just came to the 'present' from the 'future'. One's a cyborg tough terminator guy who's supposed to kill this chick. The other is a resistance fighter, Kyle something. [That little explanation over, Goroh unpauses it.]
no subject
Simple enough.
[And watchin'.]
no subject
Tao, what have I --
[And she stops. Goroh is on the couch. She's pretty thoroughly stunned to see him there.]

...I thought it was Tao too. But...
[Dave motions to an empty spot on the couch. Come on, Litchi.]
no subject
...You do know it's past 2 in the morning...?
[Just... sinking down into that empty spot next to Dave. Seriously, you two, why beer and movies at this hour.]
no subject
Your point being? The movie's still on.
no subject
[And he takes a drink of his beer.]

[She blinks blearily at the screen, inwardly wondering if this means that Goroh is coming back to live with them again. Or maybe not. This is Goroh.]

The result is somehow unsurprising.]
I take it that having to see this movie at this particular time, at this particular volume, is by some means a matter of life and death...?
no subject
Not yet. I'd hate for it to become so.
no subject
[Hold up, are those... explosions!?]
--Wait, what is this?
no subject
Historical movie from my world. Tells the tale of how Earth avoided being taken over by cyborgs from the future.
no subject
...
Sold.]
Really? How much of the beginning have I missed?
no subject
Not much. Two people just came back from the future. One's a robotic terminator supposed to kill this woman, the other is a resistance fighter. See now, the woman? She's going to be the mother of the future leader of the resistance. If she dies, the robots win.
no subject
So because the cyborgs weren't able to triumph over the forces of the resistance in the future, they've gone back in time to kill the leader's mother while she's helpless? How cowardly... how villainous! [How exciting.]
no subject
[Nevermind he could just PAUSE it. Nah, this is better.]
no subject
In any case, she'll pipe down. When's this hero character going to make his appearance?]
...This is a very action-based explanation.
no subject
[He's leaving it playing, but goes to grab him some food from the kitchen during this relative boring part.]
