009 - [Action/Voice]

[Meanwhile (or LATERWHILE because this is forward-dated to this evening), Goroh is at Good Spirits, sitting on a stool up at the bar. But rather than doing his usual thing of just hanging out there, he's got his journal out in front of him for a voice message.]

Goroh here. Listen up, I've promised a few people I'd have a drink with them. If you're one of those people, you should know where to find me.

[And that'll do for now. If he hasn't asked you for a drink, you can still bother him anyways.]

Like you wouldn't believe. This stuff kicked my ass during that snowstorm. That never happens to me.

[Litchi eyes her glass thoughtfully for a moment before deciding not to finish off the last half of it. She may be drunk, but she still has enough wits about her to know her limits.] I suppose I'll be in for it tomorrow...

Probably. But hey, I think I'm still pretty coherent. Mostly? So let's not just sit here.

[Well if this was Mute City, he'd suggest they go barhopping, see a show, take a ride in the Fire Stingray through the city, or take a trip to the Casino Palace and really have some fun. That said, they're in Luceti and right now they're in the only fun place in town. So after about a minute of staring at the few lingering drops swirling in his cup as he twirls the glass in his hands, he looks up at Litchi with a rather lame answer.] Shit, I don't know. We could take a walk?

[Litchi's not even listening to the suggestion. She's been eying up his hair the entire time he's been thinking. Not bothering to ask permission first -- after all, he'll live~ -- she reaches out to take a hold of a lock of it.]

You know, your hair is really nice~

Yeah, I guess it is. [His hair is fairly long, but not long enough that he doesn't have to move his head to keep from her pulling his hair.]

[not_meatbuns]

[Litchi gets up with only the slightest wobble so that she can mess with his hair better. Don't mind her, she's just making you pretty.]

It is. You should really do something with it more often~

[He can't even see what she's doing now. He really should object to this, but at this point, he's not really sure what to say.]

I think it's fine the way it is.

But that's such a waste.

[He doesn't even have the luck of having only one big braid... there's several little ones she's working on. She also wishes she had some ribbons to weave in there, but alas.

Lao Jiu, for his part, looks embarrassed.]

[Excuse him while he's mostly wincing, since Litchi probably isn't being terrible careful given her intoxicated state. He's trying to keep his hair from being pulled too hard.]

Much better what way? What are you doing back there?

[She's trying to be gentle, but there's only so much you can do when you're smashed. She chuckles.]

You'll see.

I'm not sure if I want to. [But while he's waiting, he'll just grab that bottle of ale and take a swig. He needs it. For medicinal purpose, clearly.]

[He'll probably be needing it. Within a few minutes, she's done. Goroh's hair is now in several, slightly sloppy braids. Litchi is probably a little too proud of her handiwork.]

[Goroh reaches back and cringes when he recognizes what it is he's feeling. He pulls one of the longer strands around so he can at least see part of it.]

Braids!? You braided my hair!?

[She's totally unabashed.]

Why would I want braids? [He's still reaching back there at his braids. Sadly he's not having much luck working out how to get the braids out.]

[not_meatbuns]

Because you should do something with your hair when it's this long.

[hageshii]

[He gives up for now. At this point it's really not that big of a deal to him.] It's that long because I don't do anything with it!

[not_meatbuns]

[She won't be backing down from her opinion that the braids are the best thing ever... at least as long as she's drunk.] But this looks great~ You should keep it like this.

I guess I could. For a little while. [Or until he's sober.]

I thought you were a doctor, not a... whatsthename. Hair person

I am. But even doctors need to have a little fun sometimes~
