Now look, I acted a little stupid last week. But to be perfectly fair, you kids could have been a lot more cooperative. I think we all learned something valuable that day. That you kids should avoid people with bags and that I don't like any kids but my own.

Anyways, we'll be getting new feathers soon. Anyone care to make a gentleman's wager on what the first one will be like? I'm going to go with teenage girl, perky and annoying, and dressed way skimpier than she ought to be. Any takers?

Yes. Like, what it will take to get out of this place, for example.

...Right.

You do realize that the New Feathers will be just as diverse as the people who are already here, right? It's impossible to tell what they'll be like.

So you can enjoy being wrong then. That's fine with me.

I suppose you remind me of someone, that's all.

Have you really been here so long you can predict?

[Hmph. She can't help the kneejerk reaction for Eiko, but knows full well how experiments can change people.]

As long as that's all it was....

...Do you actually take bets on how new people are going to look like?

How about getting a hobby then?

Gambling is your hobby? Isn't that more of a bad habit.

Scientifically, your wager won't pay off if you're too specific with the details. If you're more narrower with your choice then you have a better chance at winning.

What if this girl is teenage girl, whose perky and annoying, but doesn't dress 'skimpy'? Then you lose, won't you?

...Respect? I'm not following you.

That's a strange perspective you have, then.

That doesn't make it any better.
