[Meanwhile (or LATERWHILE because this is forward-dated to this evening), Goroh is at Good Spirits, sitting on a stool up at the bar. But rather than doing his usual thing of just hanging out there, he's got his journal out in front of him for a voice message.]

Goroh here. Listen up, I've promised a few people I'd have a drink with them. If you're one of those people, you should know where to find me.

[And that'll do for now. If he hasn't asked you for a drink, you can still bother him anyways.]

Ha! Wish I could say the same for myself. I remain woefully unemployed.

Why don't you work for the Welcome Center? If you're going to help out the newcomers anyway, it seems like a good fit.

[He laughs at that.] Thanks, but no thanks. Welcoming newbies with milk and cookies ain't exactly my style.

[She chuckles.] You'd be welcoming them with this ale, I take it?

It would've made me feel better if someone had done the same for me.

Maybe you should start that up, then. Make it something of a tradition~?

Ha! First you get kidnapped, given a pair of wings, then you get completely pissed drunk. Sounds like a great plan. I'll have to bring that up at the next town meeting.

[She laughs.] It'd certainly take away some of the shock.

[Sip.] I think you should go for it.

Maybe I will. You and I could run a real Welcome Center.

[not_meatbuns]

[Oh god, don't encourage it. She's actually serious about this for now.] We could~ Everyone deserves a proper welcome.

Then we'll do it! You and me, Goroh and Litchi's Welcome Center. Get 'em fixed up, boozed up, and give them the straight facts about this dump. Ain't gonna sugarcoat how this place is great for meeting people like some of the other idiots around here. [And he finishes drink number 3 all at once.]

[She nods in agreement, even though she is of the opinion that Luceti is indeed very good for meeting new people.] Exactly~

Although... would we need licenses to distribute alcohol?

[Then she's just a softie! Although Goroh has met a few people who aren't completely terrible.]

And who is going to regulate that? We'll print up our own licenses! We can do whatever the hell we want to do!

Like you wouldn't believe. This stuff kicked my ass during that snowstorm. That never happens to me.

[Litchi eyes her glass thoughtfully for a moment before deciding not to finish off the last half of it. She may be drunk, but she still has enough wits about her to know her limits.] I suppose I'll be in for it tomorrow...
